I'm nearly laughing in some of these, because my boyfriend agreed to take one for the team in his first [successful] attempt at taking pictures of me for da blog. I got home from class a little early the other day, so I figured I might as well test out my point and shoot to see how it does. I do prefer DSLRs, but I don't have one of my own... and they're expensive. And I think it will be some time before I get one. So this will have to do! I'm actually pretty happy with the results; it's not the same, but it's justttt fine. What this camera is really good at, though, is taking detail shots on the macro setting (cue: caterpillar).
Anywayyy, Halloween is quickly approaching! I live with four girls, believe it or not, and we went shopping last night to prepare for the transformation of our house into a scare zone (?) for Saturday night. Should be exciting. We are also dressing up as SPICE GIRL ZOMBIES. I'll be Sporty Spice (obviously), and there's gonna be fake blood everywhere. That's wussup.

I think the pics look great. I have a point and shoot-- it's kinda fancy and has lots of settings, but it's still a point and shoot. I dig it. You'll get more outfit pics I think if you just use yours, rather than waiting for someone with a DSLR to take your pics.
