an ode to mi casa

The lighting in my house this time of year is basically just amazing, and it makes me so happy to be alive and to be where I am right now. I graduate from college this Saturday and, without meaning to, have been collecting pictures from around my house. It's a good house. While I won't particularly miss, say, the amount of dishes we dirty, I will always treasure the four years I've spent in the roommate scene. I'll miss my owl candle that I refuse to ever light and whose left ear I've had to re-melt on like four times. I'll miss this couch that Ally and Bonnie and I picked out before we moved into our very first apartment ever (even though it really sucks and caves in and practically eats people and books and computers). I'll miss staying up way too late on school nights, chatting and singing karaoke and eating candy together. I'll miss taking online personality quizzes for hours at a time. I'll miss every single one of you beautiful women that I've had the pleasure of living with during the last four years.

I know this might be overly sentimental, but... when in Rome. Moving on from this period of our lives is going to come with a lot of changes, but that's not a bad thing! Just different. Allison, Bonnie, Becca, Ally, Molly: I'll love you guys forever.

Awww that owl is so cute! Why are you going to miss him? Can't you take it with you if it's yours?

Yes, change is good...as long as you all stay in touch which you will, so there is nothing to be too sad about. :D

:))) Awww. It's always tough to move on to a new part of life. But memories will be with us always. And friendships too. ;) So glad you had such a great time with your housemates.
