As I mentioned in my previous post, I just recently started my first full-time job. And as it turns out, dressing business casual is actually really fun! If you follow me on instagram (@blorangelaura, y'all), you most likely have noticed this... No shame. Anyway, I wasn't really planning to, but I started taking a few pics of my outfits details during my 15 breaks... Again, no shame. Don't judge. The crazy thing about all of this is that I've been kinda low on dough (you know, $$$) this summer from being in between jobs, and I haven't bought ANYTHING new. That's right, I am about to hit my 3.5 week mark of having forced my crazy college kid wardrobe into that of a professional. On one hand, I'm pretty proud. On the other, I'm pretty excited to go shopping for 'work clothes' some time soon. It'll happen.
In other news, BONNIE is coming in town this weekend! And I have an extra bedroom AND bed in my new apartment, so I'll be able to go into full hostess mode. I love being a hostess. And I love hanging out with Bonnathon. This is gonna be fun.
Last thing: the title of this post is in references to one of my faaaavorite dude's songs (see below). Dan Mo/Daniel Molina used to be in a band with one of my brothers, and I'll never ever tire of his singer/songwriter tunes. Sometimes on the way to work - when I'm feeling really cheesy - Dan's song "She Works Everday" song pops into my head. The song is not about me at all, but obviously... I work every day. So yeah. I can relate. It's a great song; you should give it a listen! "Madison Avenue" and "Maybe Love" are also quite wonderful. If you like this guy (which I'm sure you will), please do go on ahead and download! You get to name your own price, which is pretty cool.
Also, you're cool. Thanks for reading my life ramblings.
