As a young
20-something, I look forward to getting married, but the times are
a-changin', and I truly see myself being a "modern bride" whenever my day
comes. MissesDressy is an awesome online boutique that mostly carries prom dresses, cocktail dresses, and evening dresses, and they have some
gorrrgeous gowns that I could totally see myself, my blog friends, my
real-life friends, and just girls around me in general wearing on their
special days. Plus, compared to many wedding dress boutiques, the options MissesDressy provides are more affordable, unique, and WAY COOLER. Some of my personal favorites:

| The vintage look: pair with vintage red lips, a conservative updo, and pearl accessories (if any). |

| The edgy look: pair with dark red or plum lips, hair half or completely down, and minimal accessories. |
I firmly believe that this is the direction the wedding dress market is
headed. Big, white ball gowns may still be the most "normal" choice for
brides-to-be right now, but non-traditional colors, cuts, and details are what
many girls my age are starting to consider and dream of. Just get on Pinterest, and you'll see what I mean.
The key to pulling off a non-traditional wedding dress is to ensure that your make-up, hair, and styling match the vibe of your dress. I'm hoping that this post will inspire a lot of girls all over the world to put
themselves out there and wear something truly extraordinary on their
wedding days - without breaking the bank. Did I mention MissesDressy offers free international shipping? So rad.
Even though I don't see myself getting married for at least a few years, I am planning to scour this website first thing when I start my dress search. It's also a great place to look for bridesmaids dresses and dresses for other formal events! In fact, I think I may have decided what I'm wearing to my brother's formal wedding in December... :) And let's be real. All three of these dresses would be killer prom options for younger ladies, too. So get to shoppin'!
