6 Easy Steps to Transform a Plain, Ugly Wallet into a Beautiful Masterpiece
- Collect your supplies: one plain wallet (check the sale sections of places like T.J.Maxx or Target), painters tape, a paintbrush or two, scissors, and several colors of acrylic paint
- Begin by placing two long strips of tape across the length of the wallet
- Cut out small strips of tape and arrange into random shapes in the open space between the two long tape strips
- Fill in the leather shapes with paint in alternating colors; repeat 1-2 more times, waiting five minutes in between coats
- When the final coat is dry to the touch but not completely dry (maybe 15 minutes), slowly peel off the tape

I've seen this sort of thing before, but I love the geometric shape you've chosen + the color combinations. I think I must try this.
Thanks!

Oh snap, that's pretty darn cool. I've been wanting to do something like this to a white shirt for a while now.
