DIY geo wallet

6 Easy Steps to Transform a Plain, Ugly Wallet into a Beautiful Masterpiece
  1. Collect your supplies: one plain wallet (check the sale sections of places like T.J.Maxx or Target), painters tape, a paintbrush or two, scissors, and several colors of acrylic paint
  2. Begin by placing two long strips of tape across the length of the wallet
  3. Cut out small strips of tape and arrange into random shapes in the open space between the two long tape strips
  4. Fill in the leather shapes with paint in alternating colors; repeat 1-2 more times, waiting five minutes in between coats
  5. When the final coat is dry to the touch but not completely dry (maybe 15 minutes), slowly peel off the tape
Voilà!!! Now you have a cool wallet.

I've seen this sort of thing before, but I love the geometric shape you've chosen + the color combinations. I think I must try this.

Thanks!

Oh snap, that's pretty darn cool. I've been wanting to do something like this to a white shirt for a while now.
